Questions before you install
Do I need to be root?
Only for OS detection (-O) and UDP scans (-sU). Quick, ping, ports, service and script scans work as a normal user.
Does it work over SSH?
Yes. termmap is an ncurses program and runs in any terminal, including SSH, tmux and the Linux console.
Is nmap included?
No. nmap is a separate program under the Nmap Public Source License; termmap calls it. Install nmap from your package manager.
Where are results stored?
Only where you save them: ~/nmap-<timestamp>.txt. There is no database and no history.
Which platforms?
Linux, macOS and BSD terminals with Python 3.6+. Windows is not supported by the interface.
